Create a compact habitat terrarium designed for small land crabs and other humidity-loving invertebrates. In this workshop, participants build a naturalistic enclosure by combining hardscape, moss, live plants, and functional hiding spaces into a balanced miniature habitat.
Using a 20 cm covered glass cube, participants will learn how to arrange rocks, natural driftwood, mosses, Wabi Kusa plants, sand, and a purpose-built shelter that provides secure hiding spaces suitable for vampire crabs, snails, mini crayfish and others. The workshop focuses on creating an attractive display while introducing the basic principles of habitat design and animal welfare.
Designed as a beginner-friendly experience, the Mini Critter Habitat Terrarium Workshop can be completed in under one hour and requires no prior experience.
