WORKSHOPS / ENCLOSED MOSS TERRARIUM

Moss Terrarium Workshops in Singapore

Join a hands-on closed terrarium workshop in Singapore and build your own self-contained ecosystem using a Glassjar — layered, planted, and designed to thrive with minimal maintenance.

What You'll Create

A complete enclosed ecosystem, built and ready to display

Create your own closed terrarium using a Glassjar, built with layered substrate, live moss, and carefully placed plants. Each piece forms a self-contained environment designed to retain moisture and sustain itself over time.

What You’ll Do

A guided, step-by-step build from base layering to final composition

You’ll build your terrarium layer by layer — starting with the foundation, then developing the internal landscape, and finishing with plants and details to complete your ecosystem.

Build the Base / Layering the Foundation

Creating the drainage layer and base structure

Start by adding a layer of lecca to form the base of your terrarium. This supports drainage and creates the foundation for the layers above.

Build the Interior / Soil and Moss Placement

Developing the core ecosystem structure

Add soil above the drainage layer and begin shaping the internal layout. Place moss and plants carefully to establish a balanced and natural environment.

Refine & Complete / Final Composition

Finishing details and completing your terrarium

Adjust the layout, position plants and elements, and complete your terrarium with final touches — forming a stable and display-ready ecosystem.
