Covered Paludarium Workshop
Build a tropical paludarium that combines the accessibility of an open display with the improved humidity of a covered system. The Covered Paludarium uses a removable glass cover to retain moisture, creating a more stable environment for mosses, tropical plants and flowing water while remaining easy to maintain.
Throughout the workshop, you'll learn how to construct a balanced land-and-water ecosystem using natural hardscape, substrate layering and carefully selected plants. You'll also install the water circulation system and understand how humidity, airflow and water movement work together to support healthy plant growth and long-term ecosystem stability.
The covered design reduces evaporation, improves humidity retention and provides a suitable environment for a wider range of tropical plants compared to an open paludarium. It is an excellent choice for hobbyists looking for a low-maintenance ecosystem with enhanced growing conditions.
