Paludarium Workshop in Singapore

Join a hands-on paludarium workshop in Singapore and build your own land and water ecosystem using open, covered, or enclosure-style systems — combining structure, planting, and flowing water into a balanced natural environment.

What You’ll Create

A dual-environment ecosystem combining land and water

Create your own paludarium using an open, covered, or enclosure-style system — combining planted land sections, natural hardscape, and flowing water into a balanced ecosystem designed to evolve over time.

What You’ll Do

A guided build from water base to final ecosystem

You’ll build your paludarium step-by-step, starting from the water system, shaping the land structure, and finishing with planting and balancing the full setup.

Build the Base / Water Foundation

Setting up the water system and base structure

Begin with the base of the paludarium, including the water section, pump system, and river bank structure that forms the foundation of the ecosystem.

Build the Land / Structure and Planting

Developing the terrain and planting zones

Build up the land section using substrate and moss, shaping the terrain to create a natural transition between land and water.

Refine & Balance / Final Ecosystem

Completing the system and balancing environment

Adjust planting, water flow, and layout to complete a stable and visually balanced paludarium.

Build Process

Each paludarium is built progressively during the workshop session, starting from the water foundation and terrain structure before developing the planted ecosystem and final layout balance.

Selected builds may be prepared in advance to streamline setup complexity and reduce structural curing time.

OPEN Paludarium Tank Styles

Two different viewing styles for open paludarium layouts

Choose between a tapered-side or full-glass-side open paludarium design, each offering a different viewing experience while supporting the same ecosystem-building approach.

Tapered Side Design

Angled side profile · Focused viewing composition

Designed with inward-tapered side panels that naturally frame the landscape and guide attention toward the ecosystem layout. Suitable for compact and structured open paludarium builds.

Available Sizes:

  • 30 × 30 × 30cm
  • 45 × 30 × 30cm
  • 60 × 30 × 36cm

Full Glass Side Design

Clear side visibility · Open panoramic viewing

Built with full transparent side panels for wider viewing angles and a more open landscape presentation. Suitable for showcasing extended riverbanks, wood structures, and broader ecosystem layouts.

Available Sizes:

  • 30 × 30 × 30cm
  • 45 × 30 × 30cm
  • 60 × 30 × 36cm

COVERED Tank Sizes

Choose your preferred covered paludarium size based on the scale, planting density, and ecosystem complexity you would like to create. All options include the guided build process, structural setup, and core ecosystem materials.

30 × 30 × 30cm

Compact · Balanced · Beginner-Friendly

A smaller covered setup designed for first-time builders, offering a manageable ecosystem layout with a balanced land and water composition.

$350.00

45 × 27 × 30cm

Expanded · Naturalistic · Versatile

A wider format that allows for longer riverbank layouts, more planting flexibility, and stronger separation between land and water zones.

$450.00

60 × 30 × 36cm

Large Format · Structured · Display Build

A larger ecosystem build with extended terrain possibilities, deeper structure, and increased planting detail for a more immersive paludarium layout.
