MAZURI Lorikeet Diet (5AB4 / 1Kg)

Mazuri® Lorikeet Diet is a complete lorikeet food for most nectarivorous and pollen-eating avian species such as lorikeets and lories. Containing nutrient-rich papaya and pollen, this low-iron lorikeet diet is ideal for iron-sensitive species and designed to be mixed with water to promote hydration.

Product Form:  Dry powder

• Prepared Mazuri® Lorikeet Diet is designed to be an essential part of a total feeding system. If desired, supplementation with appropriate food items can be done at up to 20% of diet as fed.
• Never feed dry powder without first combining with water.
  1. Mix, by weight, 80% room temperature water to 20% Mazuri® Lorikeet Diet. Adjust mixture to meet desired texture and need.
     • Do not use hot or boiling water.
     • Do not microwave mixed product.
     • Measuring of powder by weight is recommended.
  2. Mix thoroughly with a fork and whisk.
  3. Product may be offered for up to 12 hours. In very hot and humid environments, it’s recommended that feed bowls be changed more frequently.

Storage Conditions
Mazuri® Lorikeet Diet has a 1 year shelf life in the dry powder form when stored in a dry environment. For best results, tightly affix lid on canister after removal of desired dosage or store contents of open bag in container with sealing lid. Store in a cool (75°F or colder), dry (approximately 50% RH) location. The mixed product should be stored under refrigeration where it keeps for up to 24 hours. Do not use mixed product stored at room temperature longer than 3 hours.
